Charges

For consultancy work I usually charge for my services on a Time & Materials basis including travelling time and incurred expenses. These are discussed and agreed before any actions take place. Sometimes I am able to quote for a job of work where there is an agreed specification, a website for example, but I do reserve the right to charge consultancy rates for the drawing up of the specification. Where the latter is agreed, I may then be able to offer a discount for the job if I am ultimately requested to carry out the works.

I do not as a rule mark-up equipment or charge a premium for services such as obtaining Domain Names. I am happy to advise and guide my Clients but prefer to provide any hardware and/or services at cost, leaving ownership of the products/services with my Client. I believe this is in the interests of the Client.
