Ealing House - Designated Parking

Forming part of the Penrose Estate, Ealing House is an original fisherman's cottage situated in a quiet location in the heart of one of the oldest parts of Porthleven; close to the harbour, restaurants, shops & pubs.  For this reason, like other properties of its age and location, it doesn’t benefit from adjacent private parking as, for some reason, this seemed unimportant to the Fishermen who constructed it in about 1850.

Whilst there is plenty of on-street parking available in Prospect Place, Peverell Terrace and other streets nearby, it is to be appreciated that, especially during the height of the summer holiday season, finding a proximate parking space can be a little more challenging on occasions.  This is a feature common to many ancient and unspoilt Cornish villages.

Thus the owners have secured a designated parking space for Ealing House visitors so that those holidaying at Ealing House can rest assured that a parking place will be available at all times during their stay, irrespective of whatever time of day they return to Ealing House.

Booking the designated parking space:

The parking space is administered by the managing agent (Above Beach Cottages) and is gratis, courtesy of the owners of Ealing House.

To reserve the parking space please ensure you supply the managing agent the number plate and the make/model of your car at the time of your confirmed booking for Ealing House.  These actions reserve the parking space and you will receive further details and directions well before your holiday commencement (if you change your vehicle before your holiday please inform the managing agent).

If you do not request the parking space it will not be allocated for you and you will be unable to take advantage of it.
