I have dedicated this website to my father Alfred Hill to recount his long career with Park Royal Vehicles where he became the designer draughtsman responsible for the famous London Transport Routemaster bus.
This website began after finding some long-lost photographs of buses in my father's collection of PRV and associated memorabilia. I recall there being countless rolls of his drawings and photographs in our attic but he had a massive clear-out in the 80's and most of it was destroyed. Therefore initially there wasn't much to display on the website. However, over the years more material was discovered and the site expanded to cope. This caused the site to become cumbersome to use and so I decided to re-design it with ease of navigation as the maxim. Unfortunately I believe I have now exhausted my father's collection of PRV memorabilia although I'm hoping to discover more.
