Some images, courtesy of Basil Hancock, of RM 1708
(with RT
3708 & M450) at the Sydney Bus Museum on 25 July 2004 during
their celebration of RM50. An RM 1708 is also pictured at Elizabeth
Street, Sydney in 2008.
(Basil writes: the Sydney Bus Museum has RT3708 with Park Royal RT8/2 body 9098 and
RM1708 that are very treasured vehicles, both much loved and actively used members of the
collection.)
Pictured here by Basil Hancock
RML 2353 was found by chance in Sydney's Western
suburbs on July 1st 2016.
And again pictured by Basil Hancock is RT 3708 at the Sydney Bus Show in 2016.
(Basil writes: RT3708 was refurbished in 2016 by Bustech and was shown on their stand at the 2016 Sydney Bus Show held at Sydney Olympic Park to demonstrate how the new Bustech twin-steer (think Bedford VAL) double decker had improved on the past.)
Originally built for Plymouth City Transport in 1969, this PRV bodied Atantean
is now undergoing renovation at Sydney's northern beaches. (See Atlantean
JJY630G for more information). Pictures by Catherine Norman.
