Armstrong Siddeley

Armstrong Siddeley was a British motor manufacturer that built some of the most prestigious vehicles of its time.  Its history began after WW1 in late 1919 following the acquisition of Siddeley-Deasy by the Newcastle based Armstrong Whitworth company; it ceased production in 1960.

The following websites provide a most comprehensive history of the company and its products.

What seemingly isn't mentioned in the above sites (forgive me if it is; Ed.) is the fact that Armstrongs, as it was commonly known to Benjamin & Edward Daniell of Brindale Engineering, had a large factory at Somerton Road, Cricklewood in North London.
